Who we are
This Privacy Policy is issued by HireReady ("we", "us", "our"), the legal business entity operating the service at app.hireready.ai. HireReady is the data controller responsible for your personal data processed through the service.
Data we collect
We collect account details from hiring team users and candidate intake information from role-specific forms: profile details, written responses, and optional resume files. If you submit a contact or demo request, we collect the fields you provide (work email, optional name or message) for follow-up.
Purpose
We use this information to support structured interview planning, candidate review, and debrief workflows for the hiring role connected to each submission, provide customer support, maintain platform security, prevent abuse, and process billing events for paid plans.
Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed to operate the service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it using reasonable technical and operational controls.
Third-party processors
We use third-party services for hosting, AI processing, error monitoring, and product analytics. We use Paddle for subscription billing. These processors handle data under contracts that require appropriate safeguards. We do not sell candidate or user data.

AI-assisted processing
HireReady may use AI services to generate draft summaries and interview artifacts. AI output is assistive, editable, and reviewed by human decision-makers. We do not use AI to make automated hiring decisions; humans make all final decisions.
Candidate data handling
Candidate information is shared only with the hiring team using HireReady for that role. Candidates can contact their hiring team contact with questions about role-specific data use. Workspace customers are responsible for their own hiring-process notices and compliance obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies on hireready.ai and app.hireready.ai. Cookies fall into two categories:
- Essential cookies — required for the site and application to function (authentication, consent preferences, security). These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors and users interact with HireReady. We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics, including page views and feature usage. These cookies are only set with your consent.
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the panel, accessible from the footer of every page or from the user menu in the application.
We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, non-essential cookies will not be set without your explicit consent.
Security and data transfers
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data. Because our providers may process data in multiple regions, your information may be transferred and processed outside your local jurisdiction with contractual safeguards in place.
Your rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You can submit requests by contacting support@hireready.ai.

We may update this policy from time to time. The last-updated date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
